JOB DESCRIPTION
My client, a high-profile hospitality venue based in North Dublin, is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join their team.
Position Overview:
As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen and supporting the wider team in delivering exceptional food for daily service and large-scale events. You will assist senior chefs with food preparation, service, and kitchen organisation, while ensuring hygiene and quality standards are maintained at all times.
This is a full-time permanent role, offering a competitive salary of up to €40,000 per year, depending on experience. The position includes evening and weekend work in line with business needs, with structured rosters and opportunities to progress within the kitchen brigade.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie in a hotel or banqueting kitchen
• Strong culinary skills and passion for high-quality food preparation
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and event days
• A positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role
• Must have full right to work in Ireland
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard in your assigned section
• Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operation
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with HACCP
• Assist in receiving deliveries, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
• Help train and support junior chefs and kitchen porters
• Ensure your section is clean, organised, and properly stocked at all times
• Contribute to menu development and tastings when required
• Take direction well and remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
