JOB DESCRIPTION
My client, a high-profile hospitality venue based in Tipperary, is seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join their team.
Position Overview:
As the Food and Beverage Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all food and beverage operations across the hotel, including the bar, restaurant, and event spaces. You will lead from the front—supporting service delivery, supervising staff, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction at all times.
This is a hands-on, guest-facing role that requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. You’ll work closely with the senior management team to ensure daily operations run smoothly while also contributing to training, stock control, and team development.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a flexible Monday to Sunday rota (5 days over 7).The salary on offer is up to €35,000 per year, depending on experience.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or duty management role within food & beverage
• Strong knowledge of bar, restaurant, and event operations
• A confident leader with excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage a team and coordinate busy service periods
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• A genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily food & beverage service across all outlets
• Lead and support the F&B team during service, ensuring smooth operations and top-class service
• Handle guest queries and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner
• Monitor staff performance and assist with training and development
• Work closely with the senior management team to deliver on business goals
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and ensuring compliance with health & safety standards
