JOB DESCRIPTION
My client, a high-profile hospitality venue based in North Dublin, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day service delivery across the property.
Position Overview:
As the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager and Deputy General Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the property. You will work closely with departmental heads and duty managers to achieve operational goals, ensure full compliance with policies and procedures, and deliver an exceptional guest experience across all areas of the business.
This role requires a strong, hands-on leader with proven experience in team management, service delivery, operational compliance, and continuous performance improvement. You will serve as a central link between departments—driving consistency, quality, and alignment with business targets.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of up to €60,000 per year, depending on experience. The role is structured around a Monday to Friday schedule, with core working hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering a strong work-life balance in a high-performing hospitality environment.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in hospitality operations management or similar
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to coach and motivate teams
• Solid understanding of hospitality standards, financial targets, and guest satisfaction metrics
• Experienced in labour cost management, rostering, and compliance monitoring
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with digital reporting tools
• Ability to lead from the front in a hands-on, collaborative environment
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of all departments including front office, F&B, housekeeping, and events
• Support and mentor Heads of Departments and Duty Managers to meet targets and uphold standards
• Lead Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and Sustainability compliance across departments
• Monitor and improve service delivery with a focus on achieving a 4.5+ guest rating
• Maintain and update departmental SOPs in line with operational objectives
• Review, cost, and approve weekly department rosters and labour allocation
• Liaise with senior kitchen and service teams on menu costing and implementation
• Conduct and coordinate departmental meetings, audits, and stocktakes
• Work closely with HR on training, performance reviews, and attendance management
• Monitor daily staffing levels to align with business volumes and forecasted revenue
• Participate in weekly operations meetings and provide feedback to senior management
• Perform Duty Manager shifts as required
