JOB DESCRIPTION

My client, a high-profile hospitality venue based in Tipperary, is seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Manager to join their team.

Position Overview:


As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will take full responsibility for the smooth running of all food and beverage operations, including the bar, restaurant, and event spaces. You’ll lead from the front—delivering exceptional service, managing and mentoring staff, and ensuring a high-quality guest experience at all times.

This is a key leadership position where you will work closely with the senior management team to plan and deliver service, manage staffing and rosters, oversee training and development, and ensure stock control and compliance standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, strong people management skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working any 5 days over 7 (Monday to Sunday) on a rotating schedule. The salary is up to €42,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:


3+ years’ experience in a senior food and beverage role, preferably in a hotel or similar environment
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and event service standards
• Experience with rostering, stock control, and staff training
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and hands-on approach to service delivery
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Responsibilities:


• Oversee all F&B operations across restaurant, bar, and functions
• Lead, support, and motivate the food and beverage team
• Manage daily service, ensuring a smooth guest experience
• Monitor and uphold quality and consistency of service
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any service issues
• Manage rotas, stock levels, and ordering
• Work with senior management to achieve departmental targets
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
