JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a well-established European-focused logistics and transport company, is seeking an experienced Sales Associate to join their team based in North Co. Dublin.
Position Overview:
As the Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by identifying new opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional service in the logistics and transport sector.
You will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing long-term partnerships, and ensuring customer needs are met with tailored solutions. Working closely with an experienced, collaborative team, you will have the chance to make a real impact in a company that values your contribution and supports your professional development.
This is a full-time position with core hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, based in North Co. Dublin with a hybrid working model (2 days remote, 3 days on-site). The role offers a competitive salary of €38,000 to €42,000 per year depending on experience, along with excellent benefits and genuine opportunities for career progression in a growing business.
This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.
Requirements:
• Proven sales experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain
• Strong record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
• Customer-focused approach with outstanding relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and results-driven with strong organisational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients
• Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the logistics and transport sector
• Prepare and deliver tailored sales proposals and presentations to potential clients
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet agreed targets and KPIs
• Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and interactions in the CRM
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to support sales strategy
