My client, a leading automotive services provider renowned for its exceptional roadside assistance and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, is seeking a CVRT Tester to join their Audit Services division based in Dublin 22.

Position Overview:

As the CVRT Tester, you will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections at commercial vehicle testing centres and operator premises to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, procedures, and testing standards. You will play a key role in maintaining consistency and quality across vehicle testing operations while also supporting ongoing technical audits and internal projects. This is a hands-on, field-based position requiring a proactive, professional, and customer-focused approach.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability depending on operational demands. The position follows a hybrid work model, combining remote work with on-site attendance at the company’s Rescue Operations Centre (ROC) as required.

The role offers a competitive salary of up to €42,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a performance-related bonus and a strong benefits package designed to support long-term growth and work-life balance.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a qualified HGV Mechanic/Technician (Level 6)
• IMI and/or IRTE certifications required
• Previous experience in DOE Testing highly advantageous
• Comfortable working with business and public clients in a customer-facing capacity
• Strong IT proficiency (MS Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Experience in parts sales, service advisor roles, or other motor trade functions is a bonus

Responsibilities:

• Carry out inspections at CVRT Testing Centres to ensure testing procedures meet regulatory standards
• Conduct compliance checks at operator premises to confirm adherence to legislation
• Perform consistency checks on test equipment to verify accuracy and reliability
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and present findings clearly and professionally
• Support the wider technical team with ongoing tasks, audits, and special projects as required
