My client, a leading automotive services provider renowned for its exceptional roadside assistance and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, is seeking a Patrol Assist in Dublin, Co. Dublin

Position Overview:

As a Patrol Assist, you will be at the forefront of their roadside assistance services, representing the company directly with their customers. This role offers the perfect blend of independence and responsibility, allowing you to spend your workday out on the road rather than confined to a garage.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist motorists in distress, providing quick, reliable solutions to get them back on their way. Whether it’s a flat tire, a dead battery, or a more complex issue, your mechanical skills and customer service abilities will be crucial..

You’ll enjoy a structured work schedule with an 8-week roster rotation, typically 5 days on and 3 days off, along with clear expectations on seasonal overtime. The role includes attractive shift premiums: 1.5x rate from Saturday 8pm to Monday 8am, 1.5x rate for overtime from Monday to Saturday, and 2.0x rate on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Full clean Category B driving license; BE & BC Licences are desirable
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Previous experience working with Motor vehicles is required
• Passion for the Motor Industry is desirable
• Flexible with working hours and seasonal overtime.
• Professional demeanour and appearance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide roadside assistance to customers, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
• Diagnose and perform minor repairs on vehicles.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at every interaction.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with the control centre.
• Manage your daily schedule and workload effectively.
• Uphold the company’s brand and values in all your interactions.
